Patna, January 17 (IANS). Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) spokesperson Shahnawaz Hussain has accused Rahul Gandhi of doing politics over the Indore incident. He said that Rahul Gandhi just wants a chance to do politics, but he is not sensitive.
Speaking to news agency IANS on the Indore incident, Shahnawaz Hussain said that the government led by Chief Minister Mohan Yadav is fully aware. The government has taken many important steps after the incident in Indore. Action has been taken against the responsible officer and employees.
Regarding Rahul Gandhi, he said, “If there is an accident anywhere, one should go there. These are good steps, but he (Rahul Gandhi) only wants to do politics. That is why he has gone on Indore tour.”
On behalf of West Bengal Assembly Leader of Opposition Suvendu Adhikari in the defamation case against Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Shahnawaz Hussain said, “The defamation case has been filed against Suvendu Adhikari and Mamata Banerjee because of the kind of things she says against the BJP.”
BJP spokesperson has alleged that there is no law and order in West Bengal under Mamata Banerjee’s government. Government is there to protect the rights of the people, but Mamata Banerjee became the Chief Minister to snatch away the rights of the people. Today there is a nexus between the Bengal government, its police and criminals. Mamata Banerjee is doing this because of the fear of defeat in the upcoming elections.”
Taking aim at Uddhav Thackeray after the results of Maharashtra civic elections, Shahnawaz Hussain said that the victory of Mumbai and Maharashtra has declared that Shiv Sena-UBT has no future left. He was with BJP, that’s why he had strength. Without BJP they have no strength. He tried his best with MNS, still did not get victory.
