New Delhi, June 17 (IANS). Bharatiya Janata Party’s national spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi has attacked Congress over the proposed student demonstration in Kota by Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi. He has accused Rahul Gandhi of creating confusion and tension among the students before the NEET exam.
While talking to the media at the BJP headquarters, Sudhanshu Trivedi said, “After just 3 days, NEET exam will be held again. On one hand, all the students are preparing for the exam. On one hand, the government has geared up to conduct this process systematically with full vigilance. While the government is working with sensitivity, the Congress Party and leader of opposition Rahul Gandhi are seen using deviousness. I want to ask that in the last 72 hours before the exam, when the students want to prepare stress-free, Why are you trying to create fear, tension and excitement in their minds at that time? Why are you trying to do politics in these 72 hours?”
Sudhanshu Trivedi said that this is the time for students to completely focus on their exams. Why are attempts being made to divert the attention of students at such a time? Besides, there is a question mark on the methods being adopted to invite students to the rally.
Sudhanshu Trivedi said, “We accepted that you (Rahul Gandhi) failed in your student life, failed in the company you worked in, failed in the company you ran and also failed as a leader. If you have a feeling of jealousy in your mind, do not try to take it out on the students who are preparing wholeheartedly for their success today.”
BJP spokesperson said that Congress should answer three questions. Sudhanshu Trivedi asked, “When the decision to re-conduct the examination has been taken and the judiciary has also taken cognizance of this matter, what are you actually demanding now? Question number 2 – Why did you choose Rajasthan only? During the Congress government in Rajasthan, 19 examination papers were leaked, yet your government did not take action in even a single case? Our government has taken action against 400 people in the paper leak case. Not a single paper has been leaked in Rajasthan in the last two and a half years. You (Rahul Gandhi) Why have you chosen Kota, Rajasthan, where a large number of students are preparing for the exam?
“Question No. 3- There have been reports that the owners of guest houses and PGs in Kota are being pressurized and intimidated to bring students to Rahul Gandhi’s rally. Why is this being done just 72 hours before the exams? This is a well-planned conspiracy by the Congress. This can be called a “toolkit mindset”.
