New Delhi, January 10 (IANS). 78 youth from UP participated in Vikas Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2026. During this, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh encouraged everyone to be optimistic in life.

Archita Oberoi said that it was a great honor for me to meet Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, and I felt really blessed. It was a dream of mine and also of my parents, that someday I would get a chance to meet and talk to the Defense Minister. After meeting him I felt that no matter how successful you are, you should always remain humble. He encouraged us to be optimistic in life, as many challenges will come our way. Being young, we are bound to face difficulties, but he told us that no matter how many challenges come our way, we should never give up. One thing I liked about him was that he said never bring ego into your life.
Mohit said that it was great to meet Defense Minister Rajnath Singh. I am very inspired by him. The work he has done for his state, UP, is very inspiring. Especially, our event is very motivating, and the presentation is really impressive.
Akash Sharma said that today we had gathered here to discuss ‘Developed India’, and we were invited for dinner by Defense Minister Rajnath Singh. What impressed me most about what he said was that we should avoid pride. However, I see that even those who claim not to be proud become proud. They say that they have no pride, but in reality they become proud of the fact that they have no pride. Nowadays this kind of attitude is increasing in the minds of people. He stressed that we have to end this, otherwise we will all be in trouble. I’m really lucky that I got a chance to hear this today.
