Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta expressed her gratitude to the voters after the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won seven of the 12 MCD wards in the by-elections held on November 30.
The results of by-elections held in 12 wards of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) were declared on Wednesday morning, in which the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) won three seats, Congress one and All India Forward Bloc one.
Gupta said in a post on ‘X’ that BJP’s victory is a strong testimony to the tireless hard work, dedication of party workers and the collective strength of the organization.
He said, “Hearty thanks to the citizens of Delhi for giving their invaluable blessings to the Bharatiya Janata Party in the Delhi Municipal Corporation by-elections.”
He also congratulated the winning candidates of the party and said that the government is continuously working for the development of Delhi.
