Rhetoric intensified on Mamata Banerjee’s security issue, Humayun Kabir said – No one had thought about this condition of TMC.

ममता बनर्जी की सुरक्षा मामले पर बयानबाजी तेज, हुमायूं कबीर बोले- टीएमसी की इस हालत के बारे में किसी ने सोचा नहीं था

Kolkata, June 18 (IANS). Reactions of leaders including Aam Janata Unnayan Party (AJUP) chief Humayun Kabir have come to light regarding the controversy related to the security of West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Arup Biswas’s letter.

Talking to journalists, Humayun Kabir said, “Mamata Banerjee’s situation has become such that whatever she wants to do is not being done. No one had thought that Trinamool Congress (TMC) would be in such a situation. Now it has to be seen what happens next in the matter of Mamata Banerjee’s security.”

CPI(M) MLA Mohd. Mustafizur Rahman said, “These people did what they felt was appropriate. If they felt it was necessary to freeze the account, they would have done so. We have no specific reaction on this.”

It is noteworthy that TMC Treasurer Arup Biswas has written a letter to the Central Plaza branch of HDFC Bank demanding immediate freezing of the bank accounts of All India Trinamool Congress (TMC).

Mo. Mustafizur Rahman further said that he will watch the Governor’s address. If their issues are not included in it then they will raise their issues in the House. Regarding the yoga program organized on Red Road, he only said that the people of the state are very intelligent.

BJP MLA Sajal Ghosh said on the matter related to Mamata’s security, “What problem does anyone have? Only the Personal Security Officer (PSO) has been changed. What was so special about the old PSO that questions are being raised on his replacement?” On Arup Biswas’s letter, he said, “When there are thousands of crores of rupees in the bank account, it is natural to have a dispute.”

BJP MLA Rudranil Ghosh said, “His tendency to run away from every issue proves that his party has become weak. The people of Bengal voted to get rid of TMC. TMC people have done wrong things, that is why they are running away. Who runs away from the law of the country?”
