Patna, January 22 (IANS). Bihar Government Minister Dilip Kumar Jaiswal expressed his opinion on many important issues including the appointment of the new National President of Bharatiya Janata Party Nitin Nabin and the law and order of Bihar.
Speaking on the law and order situation of Bihar, Dilip Jaiswal told IANS that there is rule of law in the state and under the leadership of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, the police is continuously working towards making Bihar crime free.
He said that those who commit crimes and try to tarnish the image of the entire social system, actually want to defame Bihar. The Minister appealed to the public to cooperate step by step with the administration in creating a safe and crime-free Bihar while staying within the ambit of the law.
On Nitin Nabin becoming the national president, Minister Dilip Jaiswal said that the Bharatiya Janata Party has its own strong culture and organizational system. Referring to Prime Minister Modi’s speech, he said that the PM gave the message that the age of the President does not matter, but leadership and responsibility are important.
Minister Jaiswal said that a 45-year-old youth has been made the national president of the world’s largest political party so that the gap between generations can be reduced and new energy can be brought.
Responding to Congress MP Shashi Tharoor’s praise for Indian cricket team head coach Gautam Gambhir, the minister said when a player or coach performs well in his work, politics should not come in between. He clarified that it does not matter in this context which party Gautam Gambhir is associated with or whom he supports.
Expressing concern over the banking system, Minister Dilip Jaiswal said that a big problem in Bihar is that banks hesitate in giving financial assistance or loans to the people. For this reason, a review meeting has been held with all the senior and top bank officials so that the situation can be improved and the common people can easily get financial help.
