Samrat Chaudhary became the head of Bihar, Tejashwi Yadav congratulated him sarcastically, know what he said

Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader and Leader of Opposition in Bihar Assembly Tejashwi Yadav on Wednesday congratulated newly elected Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary and also criticized the NDA government in Bihar.

He said that even after 21 years of NDA rule, the state is lagging behind in key development indicators.

Earlier in the day, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Samrat Chaudhary was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Bihar.

In a post on X, Tejashwi Yadav wrote, “Hearty congratulations to Shri Samrat Choudhary ji for fulfilling his promise of removing elected Chief Minister Shri Nitish Kumar ji from power today and best wishes on becoming the elected Chief Minister. I hope that the new honorable Chief Minister will be well aware of the bitter, unpleasant and harsh truth that even after 21 years of NDA rule, Bihar is far behind the national average.”

Tejashwi further wrote, “They should know that on most of the parameters of NITI Aayog, including quality education, better healthcare system, collapsed law and order, income-investment, expenditure-consumption, employment-employment, poverty-migration, uniform progress-inclusive growth and all indicators of human development, it remains far below the national average.”

Yadav expressed hope that the new government will work for the progress, prosperity and overall development of the state while maintaining the pride and interests of Bihar.

The post reads, “I hope that the newly elected Chief Minister Shri Samrat Chaudhary Ji, who is committed to the progress, happiness, prosperity, peace, harmony, security and all-round development of Bihar, will work forcefully and will not let the pride of Biharis bow down to the whims of outsiders. Once again hearty congratulations to the socialist Shri Samrat Chaudhary Ji on his election.”

Meanwhile, Union Minister Chirag Paswan also congratulated Chaudhary and said that under his leadership, the NDA will work together to take Bihar forward on the path of development and fulfill the expectations of the people, especially under the youth leadership.

Speaking to ANI in Patna, Paswan said, “I congratulate Samrat Chaudhary. Under his leadership, we all will work together to take Bihar forward towards making it a developed state. I assure the public that we will fulfill their expectations from this government, which has young leadership.”

He also said that the implementation of the Women’s Reservation Bill would require delimitation, and added that this would increase the number of assembly seats and reservation would be provided accordingly.

Paswan said, “If the Women’s Reservation Bill is to be implemented, then delimitation is necessary. This will increase the number of seats and reservation will be done on that basis.”
