Baghpat, July 26 (IANS). On the resignation of Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Nand Kishore Gurjar said that he (Dharmendra Pradhan) has resigned not under any pressure, but on his own. During this, the BJP MLA raised questions on the demonstration at Jantar Mantar.
BJP MLA Nand Kishore Gurjar, while talking to IANS, said that Dharmendra Pradhan has resigned not under any pressure, but on his own accord. We stood with the students, are standing with them and will continue to stand with them in future also.
Nand Kishore Gurjar said, “We were with the students and are still with them. However, you must have seen that there was no protest against ‘Naam Rahega Allah Ka’ and sloganeering against Lord Ram. This means that Hindus were not one. He claimed that the crowd gathered at Jantar Mantar was 99 per cent Muslims. The way slogans were raised, abuses were used against Lord Ram, if there were Hindus there, there would have been a clash.”
He also said that there were no NEET students among those protesting at Jantar Mantar. Nand Kishore Gurjar said that various investigations will be conducted regarding this matter. Seven generations will also remember those who tried to hatch a conspiracy.
“They (protesters) tried to surround the Prime Minister’s residence. Home Minister Amit Shah is in Delhi, and everyone should keep this in mind. He will remember this for a long time,” the BJP MLA said.
He said, “As far as opposition leaders are concerned, Congress is speaking today, but even in the states where Congress is in power, papers have been leaked. This problem was created by Congress itself. When I was the student union president in Uttar Pradesh, answer sheets were found lying openly. Question papers were leaked three days in advance and jobs were available by paying money.”
