Samajwadi Party (SP) national general secretary Shivpal Singh Yadav on Tuesday called it a rumor amid speculation of the party’s founding member Azam Khan to join the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) after being released from the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP).
Azam was released from Sitapur Jail on Tuesday after getting bail from the High Court and the lower court.
Shivpal Singh Yadav has given a big statement about the release of senior leader Azam Khan. He said that Azam Khan was completely implicated by the government in false and fake cases. After getting relief from the court, he thanked the Supreme Court and the High Court, saying that the judiciary has worked to bring out the truth. Shivpal Yadav said that the state government filed hundreds of false cases against Azam Khan, so that he could be made politically and socially weakened. Despite this, the Samajwadi Party has been standing with him continuously. He clarified that SP will continue to help him in future also.
Shivpal Yadav once again reiterated that the Samajwadi Party is committed to the honor and security of its leaders. He said that the way the government targeted Azam Khan is not good for democracy. But the SP’s family is standing with them and will always stand. Shivpal’s statement has made it clear that the Samajwadi Party is not only serious about Azam Khan but is also watching him in an important role in opposition politics. Along with this, an attempt has also been made to stop the speculation of going to the BSP.
