The direct interaction with various sections of citizens including women, elders, farmers, traders, youth etc made the program extremely effective.

He said that people are my power, solving people’s problems is the top priority of our government. A large number of women, elderly, farmers, businessmen, youth and people from different walks of life attended the program with their complaints and requests.

Listening to each case carefully, Maurya instructed the concerned departmental officers on the spot to ensure that every complaint is resolved on a prompt, transparent and humane basis. Zero tolerance policy on delay, procrastination and corruption will be implemented.

While sharing his views in Janata Darshan, Keshav said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Mann Ki Baat program has established a new tradition of public dialogue across the country. Inspired by this feeling, he considers Janta Darshan not as a mere formality but as a medium of direct connection with the public. He said that it is my responsibility to understand the pain and suffering of the people and provide solutions to them. It is our commitment to ensure that the benefits of the schemes reach the person standing in the last queue.

On the basis of complaints received in Janata Darshan, the Deputy Chief Minister directed the departmental officers to ensure timely resolution of all the problems. No complainant should be harassed unnecessarily. Strict action should be taken against activities like corruption and bribery. A just and humane approach should be adopted in every case.

The citizens present at the Janata Darshan expressed their gratitude to the Deputy Chief Minister for listening to the problems with sensitivity and promptness and giving assurance regarding solutions. Keshav said that the trust of crores of people of Uttar Pradesh is my biggest inspiration. Our government is fully committed to living up to the expectations of the people.
