Team India captured the title by defeating Pakistan by 5 wickets in the Asia Cup final. Congratulating the countrymen on this victory, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also posted on X. Interestingly, he also mentioned Operation Sindoor in this post.

Significantly, India won a total of ninth title including Tilak Verma’s brilliant innings of 69 runs and his useful half -century partnerships with Sanju Samson and Shivam Dubey, successfully chasing the target of 147 runs in the final against Pakistan in Dubai on Sunday, including their second T20 Asia Cup title and ODI version.
With this victory, India not only won the Asia Cup, but also concluded the tournament while remaining undefeated against Pakistan, including seven wickets in the group stage, winning six wickets in the Super Four phase and five wickets in the title match.
Talking about the match, India won the toss and decided to field first. The 84 -run partnership between Sahidzada Farhan (57 runs in 38 balls, four fours and three sixes) and Fakhar Zaman (46 runs in 35 balls, two fours and two sixes) gave Pakistan a necessary start.
However, than by the magic of spinners Kuldeep Yadav (4/30) and Varun Chakraborty (2/30) in the middle overs, Pakistan was all out for 146 runs in 12.4 overs in 12.4 overs, including Jaspreet Bumrah (2/25) also took the last two wickets.
Chasing the target, India’s score had increased to 20/3 thanks to the initial innings of Faheem Ashraf (3/29).
However, Tilak Verma (with the help of 69 runs in 53 balls, three fours and four sixes) brought India back into the match by sharing 57 runs with Sanju Samson (24 runs in 21 balls, two fours and one with a six).
Shivam Dubey (with the help of 33 runs in 22 balls, two fours and two sixes) performed an aggressive game with Tilak and strengthened India’s hold on India’s match despite a great performance on some occasions of Pakistan.
Finally, Rinku Singh, who was playing his first Asia Cup match, got a chance to score a winning run on the first ball.
