Posting on the social media platform, Shiromani Akali Dal President Sukhbir Singh Badal wrote, “The conquest of Sirhind by the Khalsa under the leadership of Baba Banda Singh Bahadur and the end of Wazir Khan, was not just a political victory. It is a direct proof that Kalgidhar Patshah Sahib Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji provided the gift of ‘Amrit’ to the oppressed, enabling them to face the most powerful and tyrannical rule of that time.
