Bhopal, December 17 (IANS). BJP MLA Rameshwar Sharma hit back at Congress’s objection to changing the name of MNREGA to ‘Vikas Bharat Ji Ram Ji’. He said that Ravana, who opposed Ram, has also come to an end and in the same way Congress will also come to an end.
While talking to the media in Bhopal, he said that the Congress Party has used the name of Mahatma Gandhi, but we follow the thoughts and works of Mahatma Gandhi. Congress has often made promises in the name of Gandhi, yet has not built houses for the poor. The whole world knows that if anyone has really implemented Mahatma Gandhi’s vision of Ram Rajya, it is the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi.
He said that we got Ram temple constructed, constructed permanent houses for the poor, worked on giving Ayushman cards worth Rs 5 lakh for treatment, issued insurance cards and honored blind farmers. Mahatma Gandhi wanted development of all sections and his vision is being fulfilled under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi.
He said that there was corruption in MNREGA during the government of Dr. Manmohan Singh of Congress. We have brought a scheme on MNREGA, through which the foundation of rural development will be laid. The vision of Ram Rajya will be realized. He said that Congress had problems with Ram ji earlier also. Congress is anti-Ram. Sonia Gandhi wants Congress to oppose Ram. We say on the sting that we will respect all great men.
The BJP MLA said that if Ravana, who opposed Ram, ends, then Congress will also end.
BJP leader Hemant Khandelwal said that Mahatma Gandhi holds respect in the heart of every citizen. The scheme has been revamped and Prime Minister Modi has always been committed to tribal welfare and inclusive development. Changing the name of any scheme or making changes in it does not reduce the respect for Mahatma Gandhi. In fact, much more work has been done now compared to the Congress days.
