UP ministers called PM Modi’s record a historic moment, counted his achievements

Lucknow, June 5 (IANS). Prime Minister Narendra Modi will break the record of all democratically elected Prime Ministers on June 9. The record of the tenure of the country’s first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru will also be broken. In this sequence, the ministers of Uttar Pradesh appreciated the tenure of PM Modi and congratulated him for his record tenure.

Uttar Pradesh Finance Minister Suresh Khanna and Minister Dayashankar Singh praised the achievements of Prime Minister Modi, calling his tenure of 12 consecutive years as historic for the country.

Finance Minister Suresh Khanna said while talking to IANS that Prime Minister Modi’s tenure of 12 years is going to be completed, which is going to be recorded as the proud record of being the longest continuous Prime Minister in the history of independent India. Under his leadership, Prime Minister Modi has given India a new identity on the global stage. Today his popularity across the world and the growing prestige of India is a matter of pride for every Indian.

Suresh Khanna said that at present many parts of the world are in the grip of war and instability, while India is moving forward on the path of development, celebration and progress. This situation is the result of Prime Minister Modi’s visionary leadership and strong policies.

At the same time, Transport Minister Dayashankar Singh said that during the 12 years of Modi government’s tenure, the country has made significant progress in the economic and social fields. In the year 2014, India was ranked 11th among the world’s economies, whereas today the country is moving rapidly towards becoming the third largest economy in the world. India has currently established itself as the fastest growing large economy in the world and work is being done in a planned manner with the aim of developing India by the year 2047.

Dayashankar Singh said that if the country continues to move ahead on this development path, India will remain a major center of global economic development in the coming years. Referring to various public welfare schemes of the government, he said that the upliftment of the poor is one of the biggest achievements of the Modi government. Through Ujjwala Yojana, cooking gas connections were provided to crores of women, which brought positive change in their lives and provided them relief from the problems caused by smoke.

He said that earlier farmers, poor, women and youth were limited to only election slogans, but in the last 12 years, concrete and effective work has been done for the welfare of these sections. Kisan Samman Nidhi, Crop Insurance Scheme and other agricultural welfare programs have brought significant changes in the lives of farmers. The government has also undertaken extensive work in the areas of rural development, infrastructure, health, education and employment. Many important steps have also been taken to strengthen the security of the country. India has made significant progress towards self-reliance in the defense sector and has achieved success in manufacturing many defense equipment including modern fighter aircraft.

In the context of Uttar Pradesh, he said that two defense corridors are being developed in the state, which are playing an important role in promoting defense production and investment. BrahMos missile is being manufactured in Lucknow, which is a matter of pride for both the state and the country. Referring to the Jal Jeevan Mission, he said that areas like Bulandshahr, which once faced drinking water crisis, are today benefiting through the ‘Har Ghar Nal Jal’ scheme. Central government schemes have contributed significantly to improving the standard of living of people in both villages and cities.
