Patna, May 30 (IANS). RJD leader and former Chief Minister of Bihar Rabri Devi has clearly refused to vacate the 10 Circular Road bungalow despite the government notice. Responding to this, Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Chaudhary said that the law is equal for everyone and every person should follow it.

“In government processes, who says what matters less. What matters is following the official rules. No matter what number of forces are deployed, it is not a matter of numbers, but it is a matter of following government rules,” Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Chaudhary, while replying to questions from journalists on Rabri Devi’s residence controversy in Patna, said.

Vijay Chaudhary gave this reaction to Rabri Devi’s statement in which she said, “She will not vacate the house.”

The former Chief Minister directly challenged Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary and said, “If the government wants, it can use police force. He has just become the Chief Minister. He should call the force and vacate the house. We will not vacate the house.”

Actually, the government bungalow located at 10 Circular Road, Patna has been allotted to Bihar Government Minister Nand Kishore Ram. However, former Chief Minister Rabri Devi has been living in this bungalow for a long time. The Building Construction Department had issued an official notice to Leader of Opposition in Bihar Legislative Council Rabri Devi directing her to vacate the government residence located at 10 Circular Road.

According to the order issued by the Building Construction Department on Friday, the bungalow has been allotted in the name of Nand Kishore Ram. Along with this, preparations have also been started to install new VVIP nameplate on the bungalow, indicating its formal transfer.
