New Delhi, January 5 (IANS). The Supreme Court on Monday refused to grant bail to accused Sharjeel Imam and Umar Khalid in the Delhi riots case. After this, Delhi Government Minister Kapil Mishra said that due to both of them not getting bail, it is clear that the violence in Delhi was carried out as part of a well-planned conspiracy, it did not happen suddenly, but was done in a planned manner.
Kapil Mishra, while talking to news agency IANS on Monday, said that the people of the country should read the investigation report done by the Supreme Court and Delhi Police so that they can know how the riots were carried out in the national capital Delhi as part of a well-planned conspiracy. This cannot be tolerated under any circumstances.
Delhi government minister Kapil Mishra said that the entire country has seen how the accused involved in the Delhi riots were given political protection and how a large group of lawyers was raised in their favor. These people were even knocking on the doors of the court to save these accused, but today the Supreme Court stayed the bail of Sharjeel Imam and Umar Khalid for one year.
Regarding ‘Sheeshmahal’, Kapil Mishra said that after the presentation of the CAG report in the Assembly, it will become clear how large-scale corruption had taken place. Nothing can be hidden from the people of Delhi.
Apart from this, Delhi government minister Ashish Sood alleged that Sharjeel Imam worked to break this country, which is completely unfair. Even people from many political parties have shared the stage with him. Therefore, now such people should come forward and apologize.
He said that Aam Aadmi Party MLA Amanatullah Khan was seen on the stage with Sharjeel Imam, hence he should apologize today.
Also, Ashish Sood claimed that we have received information from our sources that there is rebellion in the Aam Aadmi Party. There is no unity there. There is division among the party leaders. There is lack of coordination among the people. The whole world knows what the situation is in the Aam Aadmi Party at present.
At the same time, AAP MLA Gopal Rai also expressed concern about pollution in the national capital Delhi. He said that the way common people had to face problems due to pollution in Delhi is unfortunate. It is sad that the government does not want to talk on this serious issue. Today, pollution has become a serious problem in Delhi. The government did not take any satisfactory step in this regard. The situation became such that the people of Delhi were forced to breathe in a suffocating atmosphere. After all, who is responsible for this? The government should clarify its stand in this regard as soon as possible.
Gopal Rai said that it would definitely not be wrong to say that the Delhi government has completely failed in providing a clean environment to the people. In this regard, the government should answer in the Assembly so that the entire situation can be clear.
He also expressed his views regarding law and order in Punjab. He said that earlier rules were openly flouted in Punjab, but this is not the case today. Today, the situation in Punjab has completely changed and the entire credit for this goes to the government there.
