The politics of Rajasthan has reached a very interesting turn these days. The war between the Congress and the BJP is steadily intensifying. In this sequence, Congress President Govind Singh Dotasara once again attacked the Bharatiya Janata Party fiercely on Tuesday. Interestingly, Dotasara also mentioned Rahul Gandhi’s statement in which he used a political upma like “hydrogen bomb”, making sharp allegations against the BJP. This statement of Dotasara not only created a stir in the Congress camp but also increased the restlessness in the BJP’s camp.
Dotasara said that the ‘hydrogen bomb’ that Rahul Gandhi had spoken was not just a metaphor but a deep strategy and message behind him. He claimed that the “hydrogen bomb” Rahul Gandhi was discussing with the BJP’s policies and his double attitude. According to Dotasara, this “hydrogen bomb” is actually the anger of the people against the false promises and corruption of the BJP, which will erupt in the elections.
Targeting the BJP, Dotasara said that BJP leaders made promises to the public, but they did not see any impact on the ground. The BJP has completely failed on issues like employment, farmers’ problems, inflation and education. This is the reason why Rahul Gandhi, while referring to the ‘hydrogen bomb’, had indicated that the public would no longer sit silent and will teach the BJP a strong lesson when the time comes.
He further said that the BJP has only rested its politics on polarization and false propaganda. But the public has now understood everything. Rahul Gandhi’s message is clear that the public’s anger is the biggest explosive and this is the “hydrogen bomb”, which will prove to be heavy for the BJP in the election results. Giving examples, Dotasara said that BJP leaders made big claims in the name of development after coming to power, but the ground truth is that unemployment increased, farmers are committing suicide and youth are forced to migrate.
Dotasara’s statement came at a time when the electoral stir in Rajasthan politics is fast and the round of allegations and counter-allegations between the two parties is going on continuously. The BJP was already an attacker on Rahul Gandhi’s statement and now the revelations of Dotasara have made the debate even more heated.
Political experts believe that Dotasara has tried to make it a big election issue among the public by giving a new dimension to Rahul Gandhi’s ‘hydrogen bomb’. This statement is going to be enthusiastic among Congress workers and also a new weapon to surround the opposition.
