Nashik, 14 September (IANS). Nationalist Congress Party (SP) leader and MLA Jayant Patil on Sunday made a strong comment about Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Manipur and India-Pakistan cricket match.
Jayant Patil said that when violence was taking place in Manipur, PM Modi should have gone there. At the same time, he taunted the cricket match and said that two months ago, BJP leaders used to say that India’s blood and Pakistan’s water will not flow together, but now their talk has changed and they are talking about playing cricket.
Regarding Prime Minister Modi’s visit to Manipur, Jayant Patil said that PM Modi’s visit to Manipur was very late. If the Prime Minister had gone when Manipur was burning, when suicides and rape incidents were coming out, it would have been more appropriate. Late late, their departure is right, but I think they should have gone before.
Patil further hoped that the Prime Minister will now take all the necessary decisions, so that the situation in Manipur can become normal. He said that in view of the current situation, he is confident that PM Modi will take the right steps on all the issues there.
Patil also attacked the BJP for an India-Pakistan cricket match. He said that during the recent war between India and Pakistan, all the BJP leaders used to say that our blood and Pakistan’s water will not flow together. But, after two months, his own language has changed and now he is talking about playing cricket.
Patil alleged that this double attitude of the BJP causes the failure of foreign policy. He said that two months ago a separate language, today is a different language, this is the BJP’s stand and that is why foreign policy has always failed. ”
