Chhattisgarh news: On October 2, 103 Naxalites surrendered in Bijapur district before Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s visit to Chhattisgarh. Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai said on this occasion that security forces are constantly getting success against Naxalism. He said that the government’s surrender and rehabilitation policy 2025 and the impact of Nidnellanar scheme have increased the tendency of surrender among the Naxalites.
Benefits of plans
So far, more than 1890 Maoists have surrendered in Chhattisgarh, which reflects the success of the government’s policies and the confidence of the people. Inspired by the ‘Poona Margem Abhiyan’ running in Bijapur, 103 Naxalites have surrendered. The Chief Minister said that after the formation of the BJP government, there has been a lot of control over Naxalism and the benefit of rehabilitation schemes is also getting.
Rural women will benefit
The Chief Minister also praised the women of self-help groups in the training program of Panchayat and Rural Development Department held in the capital Raipur on 3 October. He said that women from rural areas will now be able to sell their products online, which will increase their business.

Vishnudev Sai also informed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will come to Raipur on the occasion of State Foundation Day on 1 November. Also, the President will be invited on Tribal Gaurav Day.
