Amit Shah Meets Nitish Kumar: NDA Finalizes Election Strategy & Seat Sharing for Bihar 2025 | Amit Shah had a special meeting with Nitish, NDA's election masterplan ready, created panic in the opposition. News Track in Hindi

Amit Shah Meets Nitish Kumar: Amidst the hustle and bustle of Bihar Assembly Elections 2025, Union Home Minister Amit Shah met Chief Minister Nitish Kumar this morning. Shah reached the CM residence located at 1, Anne Marg, Patna, where important talks took place between the two top leaders for about 20 minutes. This is the first meeting of Nitish Kumar and Amit Shah after the distribution of seats in the NDA alliance, which has put the final seal on the unity and election strategy of the alliance. Many top leaders of BJP and JDU were also present in this high-level meeting. These included Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary, BJP state president Dilip Jaiswal, state in-charge Vinod Tawde, state election in-charge Dharmendra Pradhan, and JDU working president Sanjay Jha. Although officially this meeting has been described as a courtesy call, but according to reports, there was an in-depth discussion between the two leaders on the alliance strategy, election issues and campaign for the upcoming elections.

First election on equal seats: New equation in NDA

This time, the NDA alliance is contesting the elections for 243 assembly seats in Bihar under a new equation. Within the alliance, BJP and JDU are contesting elections on equal number of seats (101-101) for the first time. Till now, Nitish Kumar’s JDU had always contested elections on more seats than its allies. In the last assembly elections of 2020, JDU had got less seats than BJP, but this time in seat sharing both the parties have indicated the strength of the alliance by adopting the formula of 101-101. All the constituent parties of NDA have now announced the names of their candidates, due to which the election roadmap of the alliance has become completely clear. This meeting of Amit Shah and Nitish Kumar ensures that there is coordination between the workers of both the parties at the ground level and there is no confusion or dissatisfaction anywhere.

Old meetings and start of election campaign

This is not the first time that the two leaders have met before the issue of seat sharing. Amit Shah had also reached Bihar last month on 18th September in connection with the conference of BJP workers. At that time Nitish Kumar himself had come to meet Shah in a hotel in Patna. Even at that time, talks between the two leaders lasted only for about 20 minutes, which indicated seat sharing. Immediately after today’s meeting, Amit Shah left for Patna airport. Amit Shah, who is on a three-day Bihar tour, will address a huge election rally of BJP in Taraiya, Chapra this afternoon. This rally of Shah is being considered as the formal beginning of the election campaign of BJP and NDA. Amit Shah’s three-day visit to Bihar is extremely important to energize the workers, give the message of NDA’s unity and review the election preparations. After this visit, it is clear that the NDA alliance will enter the election field with a strong and focused campaign under the leadership of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
