Bihar Assembly Election 2025: The incident of Congress MP Rahul Gandhi going fishing in the pond in Begusarai on November 2 has brought a boil in the politics of Bihar. While on one hand the NDA leaders have made it a subject of mockery, on the other hand, Mukesh Sahni, the probable candidate for the post of Deputy CM from the Grand Alliance and head of Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP), has called the jibe at Rahul Gandhi an insult to the seafarers community.
Attacked fiercely on NDA
Mukesh Sahni fiercely attacked NDA while talking to the media in Patna. He has been linked to the insult of Nishad (seafarer) community. He clarified that Rahul Gandhi’s visit to the pond was not just a political gimmick, but an attempt to understand the difficulties of the fishermen community, their hard work and struggle. Mukesh Sahni said that Rahul Gandhi had gone to see the difficulties of the fishermen community. They had gone to see how fishermen work hard, struggling to support their families.
Strong sarcasm on NDA leaders
Is this not worthy of respect? Taking a dig at the NDA leaders, he said that if PM Modi or NDA is hurt by Rahul Gandhi going to the pond, then it is an insult to the Nishad community. If the prominent leader of the country is going to understand the Nishad community, then taking a dig at him is an insult to the hard work of the Nishad community. The VIP chief further said that his society is proud that a big leader like Rahul Gandhi is reaching out to them and understanding their work.
Statement insulting seafarers community
The kind of language the NDA people are using has insulted their society. Mukesh Sahni directly targeted NDA and said that he does not want the next Deputy CM of Bihar to be the son of Mallah community. They will not be able to tolerate Mukesh Sahni becoming the Deputy CM. These people kept the Nishad community as slaves for years and now this society wants to break the chains of slavery and live with its head held high. NDA people and leaders will not be able to tolerate this.
DCM took a jibe at Rahul Gandhi
Earlier, Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary had taken a dig at Rahul Gandhi by saying that earlier Rahul Gandhi was making jalebi, now he is fishing. NDA leaders have claimed that everyone saw the consequences of making Jalebi in Haryana and now the consequences of fishing in Bihar will also be similar. Countering this, Sahni has termed these statements of NDA as proof of their feudalistic thinking towards the Mallah community. This time the people of Bihar will give a befitting reply to such people by voting for them.
