Bihar CM Survey 2025: With the call of Bihar Assembly Elections 2025, the political heat of the state has started increasing! The results of the latest survey about who will sit on the Chief Minister’s chair are very interesting and shocking. Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav has once again strengthened his hold as a favorite chief ministerial candidate in a survey conducted by the Research Agency C-Voter for the month of September. However, the largest upsurge has been done by Prashant Kishore (PK), the architect of Jan Suraj, whose popularity has been continuously bouncing. At the same time, the graph of Union Minister Chirag Paswan and Deputy CM Emperor Chaudhary has seen a decline, which has increased the concern of BJP alliance (NDA).
Tejaswi’s rating surge: strong hold at 35.5%
The C-Voter has been conducting a survey in Bihar since February 2025. In all these ratings, Tejashwi Yadav remains at the top continuously. However, the month of August was a bit difficult for him when his rating fell from 40 percent to 31.3 percent. But the latest September survey has once again shown Tejashwi’s popularity. His rating has increased a big bounce and has now reached 35.5 percent. This shows that their influence at the ground level remains intact and remains the strongest face of the opposition.
Nitish and Prashant Kishore: Tough competition for CM chair
The biggest change in the survey has come in the ratings of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Prashant Kishore.
Return of Nitish Kumar: The rating of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was steadily declining till August and it reached 18 to 14 percent. But his popularity has increased slightly in September. Their rating in C-Voter survey has increased to 16 percent. This shows his experience and slightly positive attitude of voters towards government work.
PK becomes gamechanger: Jan Suraj Party’s Prashant Kishore (PK) is consistently leading in terms of popularity and has emerged as a game also in this survey. In February, where his rating was 14.9 percent, he increased to 18.2 percent in June and defeated CM Nitish and captured the second number. His rating has reached 23.1 percent in the latest results of September. This clearly shows that the ‘Jan Suraj’ campaign is directly impressing a large part of voters, and Prashant Kishore is succeeding in creating a third strong pole in Bihar’s electoral politics.
Relatives of concern for NDA leaders
The results of the survey draw a worry lines for prominent leaders of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA).
Chirag Paswan: Chirag Paswan, the head of LJP-Ramvilas and Union Minister Chirag Paswan, is fourth with a rating of 9.5 percent. His rating has seen continuous ups and downs. While he reached 10.6 percent in May, now he is stable around 9.5.
Emperor Chaudhary: The popularity of Bihar Deputy CM and BJP leader Samrat Chaudhary has declined a major decline. In the September month of September, the rating of the Emperor has fallen to 6.8 percent, which was 9.5 percent last month. This decline in his rating is a serious concern for the BJP, as he is the biggest OBC face of the party.
This survey clearly indicates that Bihar’s election battle is now seen to be triangular between Tejashwi Yadav, Prashant Kishore and Nitish Kumar, with development, caste and young aspirations.
