Bihar Assembly Election 2025: With the announcement of the dates of Bihar assembly elections, a new countdown has started in the state’s politics from today. The Election Commission has announced that Bihar will have voting on two phases, 6 November and 11 November, the results of which will be declared on 14 November. The special thing is that this decisive day, which is also the birthday of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, will decide which of the political battle of Bihar (Nitish Kumar) and nephew (Tejashwi Yadav) win.
EC’s ‘Agneepath’: Bihar election is ‘Mother of all Elections’
Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar announced a big claim while announcing the election schedule. He said that “Bihar’s election is mother of all elections.” Its meaning is clear that this time Bihar election is not only for political parties, but also for the Election Commission. CEC said that a total of 17 new initiatives (initiatives) are starting from Bihar, which will be implemented across the country in future. These include facilities like Sir (Special Intervention Report) and 1950 voter helpline. He also talked about the net voter list and claimed that the Commission is preparing to hold the best elections this time.
Seat sharing tension: NDA and Grand Alliance only 11 days left
After the announcement of the election schedule, now the biggest question is about the seat sharing of both major camps – NDA (National Democratic Alliance) and Grand Alliance. Both camps have not yet officially announced the synergy of seats, while there is very little time left for enrollment:
First phase enrollment: The last date is 17 October (just 11 days left).
Second phase enrollment: The last date is 20 October (just 14 days left).
Meanwhile, Chirag Paswan’s party has increased pressure for more seats in the NDA camp. However, other constituents are claiming unity and consensus. On Sunday, BJP Bihar election in -charge Dharmendra Pradhan met NDA leaders, which is expected to end the deadlock soon.
Litmus test of Rahul’s allegations and CM facial screw
On the other hand, the Coordination Committee has also met in the Grand Alliance regarding seat sharing. Even though the screw has been stuck in this camp about the face of the Chief Minister’s post, but a prominent leader of the coalition, VIP (Vikas Human Party) chief Mukesh Sahni has claimed the Grand Alliance to be sure of the Deputy Chief Minister’s seat for himself, which has speed up the movement. Overall, on the one hand the NDA is playing the bet of continuity (development works), on the other hand the grand alliance is trying to bring a wave of change. This election is important in many ways.
Development vs. Change: On which issues will the battle be fought?
This election of Bihar is also a litmus test of allegations of ‘vote theft’ against Rahul Gandhi’s BJP, which will decide how seriously the public takes these allegations. On the other hand, the NDA government has made complete preparations to woo voters on the basis of employment schemes like 10-10 thousand rupees for women and big gifts like Patna Metro and is completely in the fray. As soon as the seats are divided in the next few days, the real picture of the electoral atmosphere in Bihar will be revealed when the publicity war will be at its peak. On November 14, the government will not only change, but it will also be decided which issues and claims have been considered as correct.
