Chhattisgarh news: Speaking at the ‘Chhattisgarh Care Connect’ program on Wednesday, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai announced a major change in the industrial landscape of the state. He said that Chhattisgarh has now entered the era of “Speed of Doing Business” (speed of business). The Chief Minister credited this change to the new industrial policy of the state and the investor-interest environment.
Record investment of ₹ 7.5 lakh crore in a year
Emphasizing the success of policy reforms of the state government, Chief Minister Sai said that Chhattisgarh has received an investment proposal of about ₹ 7.5 lakh crore in just one year. He informed that these big investment proposals will create lakhs of employment opportunities in healthcare, tourism, IT, and service sectors.
Mr. Sai said, “This is not just economic development; it is to redefine Chhattisgarh’s industrial identity.” He further stated that the state government has implemented more than 350 policy reforms in the last 18 months, keeping pace with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of ‘developed India’. These reforms have laid the foundation of sharp approval, transparent governance and strong infrastructure.
Healthcare, Tourism and AI become new development engines
The Chief Minister announced that Chhattisgarh is now spreading rapidly in the emerging areas from the core industries:
Health Services: Hospital and healthcare projects have invested ₹ 2,466 crore, which is expected to generate 6,000 new jobs. In addition, a dedicated pharma hub will be developed to strengthen pharma manufacturing.
Tourism status to tourism: Tourism has been given full industry status to unlock the rich cultural heritage and natural capacity of Chhattisgarh. Proposals of ₹ 652 crore have been received from the hotel and tourism sector, and investors will get benefits like subsidy and land assistance.
Artificial Intelligence (AI): With the introduction of AI Data Center Park in Nawa Raipur, Chhattisgarh has stepped into the field of AI Revolution.
Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai expressed confidence that with an active governance model, record -breaking investment proposals and diverse development roadmap, Chhattisgarh is establishing itself as a state ready for a future. He finally said, “We are no longer waiting for opportunities – we are making them.”
