Chhattisgarh News: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai called a meeting of collectors on Sunday, a holiday, to maintain the pace of administrative work. The special thing was that this meeting in the ministry started even before the scheduled time. The Chief Minister himself presided over the meeting. Chief Secretary, Departmental Secretary, Divisional Commissioner and Collectors of all the districts participated in it. In the meeting, the Chief Minister made a detailed review of the implementation of the government schemes of the state. He gave directions to all the officers that the schemes should be implemented on time and properly.
CM’s emphasis on preparations for paddy procurement, collectors will be responsible
The Chief Minister especially emphasized on preparations for paddy procurement. He informed that paddy procurement will start in the state from November 15. Collectors have been instructed to complete preparations for this. The Chief Minister made it clear that if any irregularity is found in the purchase of paddy, the concerned Collector will be responsible. Also, secretaries in charge were instructed to monitor paddy procurement in the districts and pay special attention to sensitive centres. The aim of the state government is to ensure that farmers get the price of their produce at the right time and in the right manner.
CM’s instructions on transparency and 100% registration in paddy procurement
He said that paddy procurement should be done in a completely transparent and easy manner, so that farmers do not face any kind of problem. For this, monitoring will be increased from the Integrated Command and Control Centre. Special care will be taken in interstate and border areas. Also, registration of farmers belonging to special backward tribes should be made easier. Collectors have been instructed to ensure 100% registration of all farmers through special camps.
