CM Vishnu Deo Sai: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai met Union Home Minister Amit Shah during his visit to New Delhi. During this, there was a detailed discussion between the two leaders regarding Naxal-free Bastar, health campaign and development plans of the state. After returning to Raipur, the Chief Minister also reacted to the rumors spreading about the shortage of petrol and diesel and appealed to the people of the state to exercise restraint instead of panic.
On returning to Raipur, Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai said that he had gone on a one-day visit to Delhi along with the state Home Minister. During this, he met Union Home Minister Amit Shah and discussed the issue of Naxal-free Bastar. He said that due to the strong will of Amit Shah, Bastar is moving rapidly towards becoming free from Naxalism.
The Chief Minister informed that ‘Chief Minister Swasth Bastar Abhiyan’ is being run in Bastar. Under this, health department teams are going door-to-door to check the health of people. The needy are being treated and if necessary, they are also being sent to the hospital. He said that the government aims to provide health services to all 36 lakh people of Bastar region. He further said that government documents of the people are also being prepared by organizing camps at the Gram Panchayat level. There was also a detailed discussion with the Union Home Minister regarding various development projects going on in the area.
CM Sai said that this time the meeting of Central Regional Council will be held in Bastar, Chhattisgarh. Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Chhattisgarh will participate in this meeting. He told that Home Minister Amit Shah has already announced this and now this meeting is going to be held in Bastar, which is a matter of pride for the state. On the rumors spreading about the shortage of petrol and diesel, the Chief Minister said that there is no need for the people of the state to panic. The government is making adequate arrangements for fuel. He said that even if there is a problem for a day or two, people should not pay attention to rumours.
The Chief Minister also posted on the social media platform ‘X’ and said that sufficient stock of petrol and diesel is available in Chhattisgarh. Fuel is being supplied regularly in all the oil depots of the state and the distribution system is being operated smoothly. The state government and oil companies are continuously monitoring the situation.
He said that keeping in mind the global circumstances, the Indian Government has made effective preparations. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also appealed to the countrymen not to make unnecessary purchases and stockpiles of fuel and to avoid rumours. Urging the people of the state to show restraint, awareness and responsibility, the Chief Minister said that people should buy fuel only as per requirement and should not believe any misleading information.
