Chhattisgarh silver jubilee: A grand festival of 25 years of Gaurav Yatra, every department gathered to recite the saga of public welfare. The state of Chhattisgarh has entered the 25th year of its formation, and this historical occasion is being celebrated with full enthusiasm and pride in the form of ‘Chhattisgarh Silver Jubilee Year’ across the state. “25 years of Gaurav Yatra-With every step of Chhattisgarh”. Under the theme, the state government is busy in spreading its development saga, cultural prosperity and achievements of public welfare to the people.
Emphasis on digital bridge and public participation
The silver festival is not only a celebration, but it is also a documentation of the development journey of the state. The Government of Chhattisgarh is using this festival as a digital bridge between citizens and governance, so that every citizen can become an active part of this historic year celebration. For this, compilation of district-level programs, presentation of departmental achievements and intensive monitoring of statewide events are being done.
The series of department wise programs continues
This grand festival began in the middle of August and it will continue in a series of February 2026. Distinguished weeks have been assigned to different departments so that they can display the achievements of their respective areas.
Currently running and upcoming main programs:
Running (03 to 10 October 2025): Home, Jail and Panchayat and Rural Development Department is organizing programs.
Upcoming Program (10 to 17 October 2025): Public Health and Family Welfare Department and Medical Education will put their achievements in front of the public.
Major events in November:
Commerce and Industry, Public Enterprises and Commercial Tax Department from 31 October to 07 November 2025.
Tribal Development, Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes, Minorities Department from 07 to 14 November 2025.
Tourism Department and Village Industries Department from 14 to 21 November 2025.
Festiveness
This silver jubilee celebrations are touching every aspect of Chhattisgarh. Programs like school education, higher education, women and child development, law, labor and even ‘Seva Pakhwada Day’ have already been successfully celebrated.
In the coming months, all major departments like forest and climate change, public relations, transport, social welfare, water resources, food supply, sports and youth welfare, public work and finance will showcase their visit.
The festival underlines the pride of 25 years of Chhattisgarh, which has given priority to development, cultural prosperity and inclusive public welfare.
