Chhattisgarh Weather: The weather is changing rapidly these days in Chhattisgarh. While on one hand the people of the state are troubled by the intense humidity and increasing heat, on the other hand, relief news has also come out regarding the entry of monsoon. According to the Meteorological Centre, favorable conditions have been created for the advance and onset of south-west monsoon in some parts of Bastar division of South Chhattisgarh within the coming 2 to 3 days.
Humidity increased due to increase in temperature, light rain at many places
According to the data released by the Meteorological Department, a rise of 2 to 4 degrees Celsius has been recorded in the maximum temperature across the state in the last 24 hours. Due to this increase, along with heat, humidity has also increased in many areas, due to which people are facing more problems during the day.
However, in the meantime the weather has taken a turn in some areas of North and Central Chhattisgarh. Strong winds, thunderstorms and moderate rainfall have also been recorded here. The local people have definitely got some relief from this rain, but the unstable nature of the weather continues.
Alert of thunder, lightning and heavy rain for the next 5 days
The Meteorological Department has issued a warning saying that the weather may remain bad in the state for the next 5 days. During this period, there is a possibility of heavy rain, thunderstorm and lightning in many districts. Along with this, there is also a possibility of high speed winds (Gusty Wind), due to which life can be affected. Meteorologists say that this phase is a sign of pre-monsoon activity and its intensity may increase further in the coming days.
Administration issued cautionary advice
The administration has advised people to be alert and stay in safe places. Especially farmers and people living in rural areas have been asked to be careful while working in open places. An appeal has been made to stay away from trees, water areas and electric poles during lightning.
Entry of monsoon will provide relief
There is a possibility of a sharp drop in temperature after the entry of monsoon in South Chhattisgarh. While this will provide relief to people from the scorching heat, heavy rains may begin in many parts of the state. This rain can also prove to be very beneficial for agriculture.
