Chhattisgarh Weather: Weather conditions have become completely favorable for the advance of south-west monsoon in Chhattisgarh. According to the Meteorological Department, monsoon is likely to actively enter parts of Chhattisgarh and Odisha within the next 4 to 5 days. Due to this change, the weather is changing rapidly in the state and the effect of rain and strong winds is being seen in many areas.
Weather patterns changed due to cyclonic system and trough line
At present the cyclonic circulation is active around north-eastern Uttar Pradesh and Jharkhand at a height of about 0.9 km above sea level. Along with this, a trough (trough line) is also formed from this system of Jharkhand to Telangana via Chhattisgarh. Due to this weather system, increase in cloud cover and rain activities is being recorded in the state. According to meteorologists, its effect will be seen more clearly in the coming days.
Light to moderate rain recorded in last 24 hours
Light to moderate rainfall has been recorded in different parts of the state during the last 24 hours. The highest rainfall of 2 cm was recorded in Chandrapur of Sakti district. Whereas Devbhog of Gariaband district, Bastar and Navagarh of Janjgir recorded 1 cm rain each. Due to rain, a slight drop in temperature has also been seen in many areas.
Temperature fluctuations, Bilaspur hottest
Talking about temperature, Bilaspur was the hottest district in the state, where the maximum temperature was recorded at 41.6 degrees Celsius. Pendra Road, on the other hand, was the coldest, where the minimum temperature was recorded at 23.2 degrees Celsius. Due to this difference in temperature between day and night, there is instability in the weather.
Meteorological Department’s warning and upcoming forecast
The Meteorological Department has advised to be cautious for the coming days. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain at many places in the state. Along with this, there is also a danger of lightning along with thunder in some areas. The possibility of strong winds and thunderstorms at a speed of 50 to 60 kilometers per hour has also been expressed.
There is less possibility of major changes in the weather in the next two days, but rainy activities will continue. During this period, the wind speed is expected to decrease slightly to 40 to 50 kilometers per hour.
Partial clouds in Raipur, chances of relief from heat
According to the weather forecast for June 7 in the capital Raipur, the sky may remain partially covered with clouds. There is a possibility of rain and strong winds in the city. The maximum temperature is expected to be around 42 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature is expected to be 28 degrees Celsius. Due to rain and clouds, people are expected to get some relief from the humid heat.
