Chirag Paswan: Union Minister Chirag Paswan has hit back at Rashtriya Janata Dal leader and Grand Alliance’s Chief Ministerial candidate Tejashwi Yadav’s promise of giving government jobs to the youth. He said that Tejashwi Yadav knows that he is not coming to power, since there are elections, he is just talking big as a statement.

The Union Minister advised Tejashwi to stop lying and not mislead the public. Chirag Paswan termed the manifesto of the opposition in the assembly elections as baseless and said that these are just election slogans. Tejashwi Yadav is claiming that every family will be given a government job, but these are all empty promises. Tejashwi Yadav also knows that he is not coming to power. Referring to Jeevika scheme, he asked who copied Jeevika? Today the opposition and his family are expressing concern over this. In fact, before 2005, until the NDA government came to power in Bihar under the leadership of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, this program did not exist. They copy, we don’t copy.

He said that on one hand the Grand Alliance has announced a Deputy CM. We are not making any such announcement. We believe that when we come to power, everyone should get representation based on their capabilities. He took a dig at Tejashwi Yadav and said that he does not consider anyone capable outside his family. If Lalu Prasad Yadav goes to jail, his wife will become CM. If he does not complete his tenure, his son will become the CM.

Chirag said that the opposition parties want to keep Muslims only as a vote bank. For me the MY equation does not include communalism or casteism. M stands for woman and Y stands for youth of the country. The mantra of our government is very clear – Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Effort. My vision is very clear. I talk about Bihar first, Bihari first. I talk about 14 crore Biharis. BJP leader Sanjay Mayukh said that victory will be of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, we will achieve a bigger victory than 2010, because the NDA government has once again put Bihar on the path of progress.
