CM Dhami Announces Sports University in Haldwani | Lohaghat to Boost Uttarakhandâ € ™ S Sports | Big announcement of CM Dhami! 'Sports University' will be built in Haldwani, youth will get a big opportunity! , News Track in Hindi

Uttarakhand news: Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami on Monday instructed the officials to strengthen the sports infrastructure in the state and encourage the youth to further encourage sports during the review meeting of the Sports Department at the Chief Minister’s residence on Monday. The Chief Minister said that special attention should be paid to regular maintenance and effective use of sports infrastructure prepared during the 38th National Games, so that sports activities in the state can get a constant momentum. He directed that regular sports competitions should be organized across the state to ensure the maximum use of these assets.

The Chief Minister also instructed the officials to speed up the proceedings of the Proposed Sports University in Haldwani and the Women Sports College to be built in Lohaghat. He said that the early implementation of these projects will provide high level training facilities to the players of the state, which will create a new identity in the state sports sector.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister asked to ensure a grand event of competitions like Nyaya Panchayat level to MLA, MP and Chief Minister Championship Trophy to increase enthusiasm and participation towards sports among the youth. He directed that the Sports and Youth Welfare Department should also provide necessary support to the youth preparing for the recruitment of Agniveer.

Chief Minister Shri Dhami said that in view of the 39th National Games, better training and resources should be provided to the players of the state. The benefits of prizes, scholarships and insurance protection should be ensured to the players who perform outstanding. He said that special attention should also be paid to the development of sports infrastructure with the participation of private sector and corporate world by the sports department, so that sports facilities can be expanded to the people.

The Chief Minister said that experienced trainers should be appointed to provide quality training to the players and the work related to the establishment of various sports academies in the state should be taken. He said that the resolution of the government is to promote sports culture in the state and give positive direction to the energy of the youth.

Sports Minister Smt. Rekha Arya, Vice President of Uttarakhand State Level Sports Council Mr. Hemraj Bisht, Principal Secretary Shri R.K. Sudhanshu, Special Principal Secretary Sports Mr. Amit Sinha, Secretary Mr. Shailesh Bagoli, Director Sports Mr. Ashish Chauhan and other officials of the Sports Department were present.
