Bihar Election: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami launched his campaign for the Bihar Assembly elections on Friday, where he addressed rallies in Siwan, Goriyakothi and Warsaliganj constituencies. Dhami in his speeches emphasized the development and good governance agenda of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA).
Chief Minister Dhami confidently said that if the alliance under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi returns to power once again, Bihar will enter ‘a new phase of progress’. He emphasized that the welfare schemes of the Central Government have changed the lives of common people.
Mention of development and welfare schemes
CM Dhami mentioned the social and basic reforms taken place in Bihar:
Accommodation and infrastructure: He said lakhs of people have received basic amenities like electricity, tap water and sanitation, and 50 lakh families have received permanent housing.
Food Safety: Dhami said that more than 8.5 crore residents of the state are benefiting from the free ration scheme.
Women Empowerment: She also cited women empowerment initiatives that have provided financial assistance to more than 75 lakh women.
Focus on governance reforms of Uttarakhand
In his address, Dhami discussed the laws implemented in Uttarakhand, such as anti-copying law, anti-conversion law, and anti-riot act. He described these laws as steps taken towards transparent and disciplined governance.
The Chief Minister said that like the Uttarakhand government, the NDA aims to establish a governance system in Bihar that is corruption-free and works in the interest of every section.

At the launch of Chief Minister Dhami’s campaign, he received a warm welcome from BJP workers and leaders. During this, he met several senior party leaders including Union Minister Prahlad Joshi, Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari, and MP Anurag Thakur and discussed the election strategy.
Along with Dhami, local BJP candidates Aruna Devi and Deveshkant Singh, and Bihar Cabinet Minister Mangal Pandey were also present in these rallies.
