Pushkar Singh Dhami: Chief Minister of the state Pushkar Singh Dhami, during his 3-day stay in Khatima, participated as the chief guest in the Jan-Jan Ki Sarkar, Main Sevak Aapke Dwar program organized at Shaheed Hari Kishan Educational Institute, Bagulia on Sunday. In the program, the Chief Minister was warmly welcomed with flower garlands, Tharu cultural dance and wearing a bodysuit. The District Magistrate presented a Panchmukhi Hanuman picture made by the women of the self-help group. The program was inaugurated by the Chief Minister by lighting the lamp.
In the programme, the Chief Minister inspected the stalls set up by various departments and inaugurated the Didi Café run by Sadbhavana CLF under the Grammotthan Project by cutting the ribbon.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, while addressing the residents of the area in the “Jan-Jan Ki Sarkar, Aapke Dwar” program, said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country has entered a new era of development, good governance and public welfare. He said that in the last years, the Central Government has worked to give a new direction to the country by taking historic decisions in the interest of the poor, farmers, women and youth.
The Chief Minister said that schemes like Ayushman Bharat, Kisan Samman Nidhi, free ration, Ujjwala Yojana and Jal Jeevan Mission have brought positive changes in the lives of crores of people. He said that the double engine government has effectively controlled corruption through transparency and technology and has passed the benefits of the schemes directly to the people.
The Chief Minister said that the Uttarakhand government is continuously working for the overall development of the state. Rapid development work is being done in the fields of education, health, roads, drinking water, tourism and air connectivity. He said that the state government has taken a historic initiative by implementing the Uniform Civil Code and has worked to secure the future of the youth by implementing anti-copying law.
He said that a policy of zero tolerance against corruption has been adopted in the state and transparency has been ensured in the recruitment processes. The Chief Minister said that the objective of the state government is to extend the benefits of development to the person standing in the last line and the “Jan-Jan Ki Sarkar, Aapke Dwar” program is a medium to strengthen this resolve.
Describing Khatima as his family, the Chief Minister said that the government is working with full commitment for the development of the area and there will be no let up in the development works in future also. He called upon the people of the area to participate in the resolve to make the state the best state in the country.
District Panchayat President Ajay Maurya, while welcoming the Chief Minister in his address, said that the Dhami government is working with full sensitivity and commitment for quick resolution of the problems of the people of the state. He said that the Chief Minister is conscious of the problems of not only Khatima but the people of entire Uttarakhand and gives top priority to public interest.
He said that Khatima being the home area of the Chief Minister, this area has a special emotional connection with him. Under the guidance of the Chief Minister, even the smallest problems of the area are being solved seriously. At the same time, the matters which require resolution at the government level are immediately brought to the notice of the Chief Minister so that their prompt disposal can be ensured.
Ajay Maurya said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Dhami, development works have gained new momentum in the entire area including Khatima. Remarkable work is being done continuously in the fields of roads, health, education, drinking water and basic facilities, due to which the general public is getting direct benefits.
In the programme, Sanjeet Kumar was benefited with an amount of Rs 1 lakh, 80 thousand and Pardeshi Rai was benefited with an amount of Rs 1 lakh 20 thousand for the construction work of Ornamental Fish Unit by the Fisheries Department. Shashikant Verma Krishi Samadhan Samiti Saijni of Rudrapur, Srijan Self Help Group Khatima, Radha Self Help Group, Matiha Sitarganj were benefited by the Agriculture Department with a grant of Rs 7.12 lakh and Autonomous Cooperative Golu Self Help Group Bhagchuri Khatima got a grant of Rs 9.18 lakh for setting up a farm machinery bank on 80 percent grant and chemical fertilizers were distributed to 22 farmers. Assistive devices were distributed to 10 people by the Social Welfare Department. 5 women were benefited from Janani Suraksha Yojana by the Health Department. Under P. Deen Dayal Yojana, the Cooperative Department distributed loan checks of Rs 1 lakh per person to 8 people at zero interest rates.
