Pushkar Singh Dhami: Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami listened to the 134th edition of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s Mann Ki Baat with the girls of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Residential Girls Hostel at the Chief Minister’s residence on Sunday.

The Chief Minister said that Mann Ki Baat program has become a powerful medium to inspire the countrymen. By sharing inspirational stories from various fields, the Prime Minister also inspires others to do public welfare work. He said that the messages being continuously given by the Prime Minister on issues related to self-reliant India, environmental protection, cleanliness, innovation, promotion of local products and social concerns are becoming the basis of positive change in the society.

The Chief Minister said that with the inspiration of the Prime Minister, there are many people in Uttarakhand who are bringing big changes in the society through their work. He said that the state government is also working to encourage such people. The Chief Minister said that in the program today, the Prime Minister called for taking special care of health during the scorching summer season and adopting necessary measures to protect from heat. Emphasizing on promoting local and traditional beverages, he also mentioned the characteristics of Indian fruits including mango.

Chief Minister interacted with girl students

After the Mann Ki Baat programme, the Chief Minister interacted with the girl students of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Residential Girls Hostel. During this, he received feedback from the students regarding the program and got to know their views.

The Chief Minister said that along with studies, one should also actively participate in sports and other areas of one’s interest. He said that small positive changes in life become the basis of big changes. Your good efforts and work inspire other people to join and create a positive environment in the society.
