CM Pushkar Singh Dhami: Sapna Rana met Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami at the Chief Minister’s residence on Wednesday. Sapna Rana received German language training under the Chief Minister Skill Upgradation and Global Employment Scheme of the state government and passed the language test, after which she got appointment at a salary of 3060 Euros (₹ 3,30,000) per month at Schon Klinik Hospital in Hamburg city of Germany.
The Chief Minister said that under the Chief Minister Skill Upgradation and Global Employment Scheme of the State Government, continuous efforts are being made by the Foreign Employment Cell formed under the Skill Development and Employment Department to connect the youth of the state with the employment opportunities available at the international level. At present, the Foreign Employment Cell is providing language training to the youth of the state for employment in Japan and Germany. So far, about 65 youth have been employed in Japan.
Cabinet Minister Saurabh Bahuguna said that employment opportunities are available for youth in the nursing field in Germany. In view of which, German language training is being conducted by the cell. After receiving this training, nursing trained young woman Sapna Rana from Tehri Garhwal has been selected as a nurse in Germany. Sapna received her schooling from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Pokhal, Tehri Garhwal and her nursing education from State Nursing College, Dehradun. Sapna has received German language training under the Chief Minister Skill Upgradation and Global Employment Scheme of the State Government and has been appointed at Schön Clinic Hospital in Hamburg city of Germany. Secretary C. Ravi Shankar was also present on this occasion.
