The Chief Minister wrote in another post on Saturday, “Uttarakhand is fast emerging as a major water sports and adventure sports destination of the country. Along with developing the immense potential of water sports in Rishikesh and Tehri, such opportunities are also being identified and encouraged in other areas of the state.”
He wrote, “On-site inspection of the preparations for the International Kayaking and Canoeing Competition to be held in Gadarpur, Udham Singh Nagar, took stock of the arrangements and also enjoyed water sports. Instructions have been given to the concerned officials to complete all the preparations related to the competition in a timely manner as per the prescribed standards.”
