CM Sai Announces OBC Community Halls and Hostel Seat Increase. CM Sai announces new gifts for OBC in Bhanupratappur. News Track in Hindi

Chhattisgarh: Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai today participated in the 13th Foundation Day program of All Backward Class Society organized at Bhanupratappur in Kanker district. On this occasion, he made many important announcements for the development of backward classes and inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of development works worth more than Rs 90 crore.

Big announcements for backward classes

Addressing the gathering, Chief Minister Shri Sai reiterated his government’s commitment towards the interests of backward classes and made two major announcements:

Community Hall: One community hall will be constructed in each development block of the district at a cost of Rs 50 lakh each.

Increase in seats: Seats for Other Backward Class (OBC) students will be increased in post-matric hostels.

Historic victory over Naxalism and ‘Modi’s guarantee’

Describing this occasion as historic, Chief Minister Sai said that the biggest obstacle to development in Bastar, Naxalism, is now nearing its end. He said that today 210 stray people have surrendered in Jagdalpur and 153 have returned to the mainstream after depositing their weapons, which is the result of the effective policies of the government.

He stressed that his government is working dedicatedly to fulfill “Modi’s guarantee”. He enumerated past achievements:

Increase in the price of tendu leaf purchase.

Purchased paddy from farmers at the rate of ₹ 3100 per quintal.

Resumption of Ramlala Darshan Scheme and Chief Minister Pilgrimage Scheme.

Gift of development works worth Rs 90 crore

The Chief Minister gifted development works worth a total of Rs 90 crore 06 lakh 88 thousand from the platform of the All Backward Classes Conference.

Foundation stone laid: Foundation stone of 14 development works was laid at a cost of ₹56.51 crore.

Inauguration: 12 construction works were inaugurated at a cost of ₹33.55 crore.

Address by Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister

Deputy Chief Minister and district in-charge minister Arun Sao and Finance Minister O. P. Chaudhary was also present.

Deputy Chief Minister Shri Sao congratulated the people and called upon them to further strengthen their role in the society.

Finance Minister Shri Choudhary described the backward class society as hardworking and hardworking. He praised ‘Mava Modol Coaching Institute’ and appealed to encourage the youth to prepare for competitive examinations.

At the end of the program, the Chief Minister honored three meritorious students of OBC category and appealed to the people of the society to become partners in the development of the state by joining the government schemes. During this, many dignitaries including MP Shri Bhojraj Nag, MLAs and Chairman of Backward Classes Commission Shri Nehru Nishad were present.
