Bhojshala Controversy: After the decision of Madhya Pradesh High Court, Namaz will not be offered at Bhojshala for the first time on Friday. The entire campus is echoing with the cheers of Maa Vagdevi. Strict security arrangements have been made by the police. SP Sachin Sharma along with the mounted police force went to the spot and inspected the security arrangements in the Bhojshala premises.

SP Sachin Sharma instructed officers and employees to remain alert. To maintain law and order, police patrolling and surveillance has been increased in the campus and surrounding sensitive areas. The SP said that more than 1800 police forces have been deployed in Dhar district in compliance with the orders and directions of the High Court.

The SP said that I appeal to all citizens, religious leaders and members of the media to maintain peace and cooperate with everyone. He said that we have talked to everyone. Copies of the High Court order have been made available to everyone. We will ensure that the order is followed in letter and spirit. A large number of devotees gathered at Bhojshala since morning for darshan and worship. The administration is on high alert, and a large number of police forces and dog squads were deployed to monitor the campus and surrounding areas.

Dhar Collector Rajiv Ranjan Meena had said on May 21 that appeals have been made through various mediums to maintain peace and order in the district, and in the spirit of this commitment, a ‘foot flag march’ was taken out appealing to all communities. Adequate number of police forces have been deployed to maintain peace. The Collector had said that appeals are being made through various mediums. We also keep a close eye on social media platforms. If such cases come to notice then strict action will be taken against them.
