Jal Jeevan Mission Jharkhand: Union Minister of State for Defense Sanjay Seth has made a scathing attack on the Hemant Soren government of Jharkhand. He has demanded from Chief Minister Hemant Soren to immediately release a white paper regarding the economic condition of the state, power crisis and water crisis. While talking to the media in his parliamentary office, Sanjay Seth said, “The economic situation of Jharkhand has completely collapsed, due to which the public is troubled. The government should first solve the problems of the public, but this has not happened till now.”

He urged the Chief Minister that the government should release a white paper on its financial position and present the real situation before the public. Seth said that the public has the right to know how the taxes paid by them are being used. Sanjay Seth also alleged misuse of funds given by the central government. He said that during the Corona epidemic, the Central Government had given Rs 18 crore for setting up oxygen plants in government hospitals, but that amount was not utilized properly. Due to this, there is a shortage of oxygen in many hospitals of the state even today.

He also cornered Hemant government regarding Jal Jeevan Mission scheme. Seth said that this scheme, which was implemented in five phases at a cost of Rs 2,490 crore, was completely failed by the government. He claimed that even today about 7 lakh houses in the state are deprived of pure drinking water. The Union Minister raised the question as to who will take responsibility for this situation. He said that there are continuous power cuts in entire Jharkhand including the capital Ranchi. In many areas there is no electricity for 10-10 hours, but the government is avoiding giving a clear answer on this issue.

In view of the monsoon, Sanjay Seth also expressed concern over the preparations of the administration. He said that the rainy season is about to come, but no concrete preparation is visible from the administration. He demanded the government to ensure covering and cleaning of all open drains within the next 15 days.
