This investigation has taken place at a time when the incident of firing and stone pelting came to light at his coaching institute. Keeping this security in mind, the local administration also visited the spot at Khan Global Institute and conducted investigation.

Serious violation of many safety rules in the institute!

The fire department checked what arrangements are there in the institute to prevent fire, whether there is an emergency exit or not, whether there is NOC as per the rules and found that many safety rules have been seriously violated in the institute.

Deadline fixed till June 15

Bihar Fire Services Commandant Ritesh Kumar Pandey told the media that the department had earlier inspected the institute on May 25. During inspection, it was revealed that there is a 5 storey building which is spread over 4000 square meters. The height of this building is 18 meters which does not meet the safety standards under the Fire Services Act. According to officials, an official notice in this regard was issued to the institute on May 31. In the notice, 15 days were given to follow the rules. The team now reached out again before the deadline to see whether the suggestions given were being worked on or not.

What deficiencies were found in the building?

According to officials, there is a 5-storey building in which there is only one living room and the width of this living room is much less than the prescribed standard.

– There is no automatic fire detection system in the building.

According to the area of the building, there should be an underground water tank with a capacity of 1.5 lakh liters and a pump house which was not found.

Action may be taken if conditions are not met

The department has clearly said that the institute still has 7 days to fulfill the rules, even after this if the institute does not follow the safety rules then a warning will be given again, because thousands of students come here to study. There will be no relaxation in the rules to ensure that no accidents happen. That means the department will not refrain from taking action.
