In the order issued on June 5, the Home Department of Bihar Government informed about ending the ‘Z Plus’ security given to Lalu Prasad Yadav and Rabri Devi. After this decision of the government, there has been a major change in the security arrangements of both the leaders and now they are out of the government security cover.
Tej Pratap Yadav’s security was also removed
In the new order of the Home Department, ‘Y’ category security of Lalu Yadav’s elder son and former minister Tej Pratap Yadav has also been withdrawn. However, being a former MLA, he will be provided a bodyguard.
Security of Misa Bharti and Rajshree Yadav intact
At the same time, no change has been made in the security arrangements of other members of Lalu family. MP Misa Bharti, being an MP, will continue to get the security of three bodyguards as before. Apart from this, the security of a female bodyguard will also be available to Rajshree Yadav as before.
