New announcements for military families
Creating several important announcements, CM Dhami said that: The military rest house of Kotdwar will be developed modernly. The Common Service Center will be established, where ex -servicemen and brave women will get free services. Many schools, health centers and routes will be named after the martyrs. He also said that now all ex -soldiers of World War II and their widows will be given respect, even if they have not received grants from other sources.
Shaheed Samman Yatra and Emotional Connection
The Chief Minister described the ‘Shaheed Samman Yatra’ as the honor of the tears of the families of the martyrs and said that the yatra was started with the spirit of establishing the memory of the martyrs and establishing it in the military dham. Welfare steps for ex -servicemen
Dhami told that: The ex -gratia amount of the martyrs has been increased from ₹ 50 lakh to ₹ 1 crore. 28 martyred families have been given government jobs and 13 are under process. 25% stamp duty exemption is being given on land procurement. Also, the deadline of application has been extended from 2 years to 5 years.

CM Dhami said that the Central Government’s ‘One Rank One Pension’ scheme, modern equipment, jackets and shoes are empowering soldiers. India has now joined leading countries in defense exports and is capable of giving a befitting reply to the enemy. He appealed to the citizens to plant ‘a tree in the name of the martyrs’.
