MP Cabinet Reshuffle: A major reshuffle may soon be seen in Madhya Pradesh politics. There is a possibility of cabinet change in the MP government led by Chief Minister Mohan Yadav by the end of June. According to party sources, many new faces may enter the cabinet, while the departure of some existing ministers is also considered almost certain. This will be the first major cabinet expansion of the government formed under the leadership of Mohan Yadav in the year 2023.

At present there are a total of 31 members in the cabinet including Chief Minister Mohan Yadav. The Chief Minister has visited Delhi several times in the last few weeks, where he held important meetings with top party leaders. It is being told that in these meetings, restructuring of the cabinet, giving opportunities to new faces and maintaining organizational balance were discussed in detail.
Resignations will be taken from many ministers
According to sources, resignations from many existing ministers can be taken anytime between June 20 and 30, after which the swearing-in ceremony of new ministers will be organized. This reshuffle is being linked to the upcoming political strategy and organizational strength. The most talked about cabinet reshuffle is about senior leader Kailash Vijayvargiya. There is speculation in political circles that he may be sent to Rajya Sabha. At the same time, senior BJP leader Prahlad Singh Patel is expected to get some important responsibility in the central organization. It is believed that the party leadership is considering determining the role of experienced leaders in a new way.
Controversy also became the basis for reshuffle
On the other hand, the performance of some ministers and recent controversies are also being considered as the basis for reshuffle. Minister Vijay Shah’s name is being taken prominently among the leaders who may be dropped from the Mohan Yadav cabinet. The party had to face an uncomfortable situation due to the controversial statement given by Colonel Sophia Qureshi during Operation Sindoor. Apart from this, names of Ministers of State Radha Singh, Pratima Bagri and Dilip Ahirwar are also being mentioned in the list of possible changes.
These faces may get a chance
There is talk of inclusion of either Sagar district MLA Shailendra Jain and Pradeep Laria in the cabinet in Chief Minister Mohan Yadav government. Apart from this, the name of former minister Brijendra Pratap Singh is also said to be included among the possible contenders. Sources say that this time youth leaders, women and representatives of tribal community can also be given priority in the cabinet. The changes will not be limited to the inclusion of new faces only, but a major reshuffle may also be seen in the departments of many ministers. It is believed that Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has done a detailed review of the work of the ministers and important decisions will be taken on the basis of that.
