Owaisi on Bihar CM Remark: Amid the heat of Bihar Assembly Elections 2025, All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) Chief Asaduddin Owaisi has burnt the election bugle from Seemanchal. During his first rally, Owaisi not only attacked the ruling NDA alliance but also lashed out at the grand alliance of opposition parties ‘India’. During this, he made a big claim that if this time the NDA alliance wins elections, then the command of Bihar’s power will not remain in the hands of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar but a BJP leader will become the Chief Minister. His statement has launched a new debate in the political corridors of Bihar.
Reversal on the allegation of ‘BJP’s B team’
Owaisi has often been accusing Owaisi of cutting Muslim votes by calling Owaisi as ‘BJP’s B Team’. Reversing this charge, Owaisi said that this is just a baseless charge. Commenting on the arrival of party workers outside Lalu Yadav’s residence, he said that if the enemy also comes home, he should sit and talk. He made it clear that there is no fear in their hearts, saying that Lalu Yadav and Tejashwi Yadav are afraid. Owaisi claimed that like the last time, the party of whichever party will remain in Seemanchal in this election will defeat it. Let us tell you that in the 2020 assembly elections, Owaisi’s party surprised everyone by winning five seats in Seemanchal region, which was a big setback for RJD. However, four of his MLAs later joined the RJD.
Owaisi’s ‘India’ alliance opened offer
Angered by the allegations of helping the BJP, Owaisi played a big political bet on Wednesday. During a conversation with reporters in Kishanganj, he gave an open offer to the opposition alliance ‘India’ and said that if his party is given six seats, he is ready to join the alliance. Kishanganj where he has started his three-day ‘Seemanchal Nyaya Yatra’ is a district in North Bihar where the Muslim population is about two-thirds.
Owaisi said, “The Bihar state president of my party has written several letters to Leader of Opposition in the Assembly Tejashwi Yadav. The last letter requested that out of 243 seats in the assembly, AIMIM should be given six seats.” He directly handed over the ball to the ‘India’ alliance and said that if there is no proper reply from the coalition, then it will be clear who is actually helping the BJP. Owaisi’s move is clear from this move that he is fully prepared to strengthen his political status in Bihar.
