Principal Ajay Negi lost several colleagues including his cousin in this disaster, while Sushil Panwar lost his younger brother and all his family members. Mahila Mangal Dal President Sunita Devi’s earnings of life, homestay and garden, became frozen in a moment. Only the dead body of Akash, son of Kameshwari Devi, has been found in the missing people in the disaster.
Village head Ajay Negi told the media that he submitted a report to PM Modi with expansion of every devastation of the village. He demanded the Prime Minister to rehabilitate Dharali, give people a job and waive agricultural loan. Pradhan said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has assured him that the central and state governments are working together for the rehabilitation and employment of the disaster affected. He also said that every disaster affected will be provided all possible help. This meeting shows that this disaster has not only damaged property, but has also given deep wounds on people’s hearts.
