Chhattisgarh Rajat Mahotsav:: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Chhattisgarh on November 1. During this, he will participate in several programs including the ‘Rajat Mahotsav’ organized to commemorate 25 years of the formation of the state. During his visit to Chhattisgarh, Prime Minister Modi will also inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of development projects worth more than Rs 14,260 crore in key sectors like roads, industry, health care and energy in the state.

At around 10 am, Prime Minister Modi will interact with 2,500 children who have been successfully treated for congenital heart diseases under the ‘Dil Ki Baat’ programme. He will then inaugurate Brahma Kumari’s ‘Shanti Shikhar’, a modern center for spiritual education, peace and meditation, at around 10:45 am.

Prime Minister Modi will unveil the statue of ‘Bharat Ratna’ former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee in the new building of Chhattisgarh Assembly at around 11:45 am. After this, he will inaugurate the new building of Chhattisgarh Assembly. The building is built on the green building concept, planned to be completely solar powered and equipped with a rain water harvesting system. On this occasion he will also address the gathering present.

The Prime Minister will inaugurate the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh Memorial and the Tribal Freedom Fighters Museum at around 1:30 pm and will tour it. This museum will preserve and showcase the heritage of courage, sacrifice and patriotism of the tribal communities of the state. The Prime Minister will launch the museum portal and e-book ‘Adi Shaurya’ in honor of the freedom fighters and unveil the equestrian statue of Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh at the memorial site.

After this, at around 2.30 pm, the Prime Minister will participate in the Chhattisgarh Silver Mahotsav organized to commemorate the completion of 25 years of the formation of Chhattisgarh state.

Prime Minister will inaugurate 12 new Start-up Village Entrepreneurship Program (SVEP) blocks in 9 districts of Chhattisgarh to strengthen rural livelihoods. Apart from this, he will attend the Griha Pravesh of 3.51 lakh completed houses and release installments of Rs 1200 crore to 3 lakh beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Gramin).
