Uttarakhand News: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in the 26th meeting of the Central Regional Council held under the chairmanship of Union Home and Cooperation Minister Shri Amit Shah in Bastar, Chhattisgarh. In this important meeting, detailed discussions were held on many important issues related to establishing better coordination between different states, strengthening the internal security system, development of infrastructure, effective implementation of public welfare schemes and regional development.
In the meeting, Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami highlighted various issues related to the state of Uttarakhand and said that only through better communication, cooperation and coordination between the states, new momentum can be given to the overall and balanced development of the country. He said that under the leadership of the Prime Minister, continuous effective work is being done towards strengthening the cooperative and coordinated federal system in the country, positive results of which are being seen in various fields.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister also highlighted the issues related to the preparations for the world famous Maa Nanda Rajjat Yatra and the divine and grand Kumbh Mela to be held in Uttarakhand in the year 2027. He said that both these events are very important events related to the cultural and spiritual heritage not only of Uttarakhand but of the entire country. In these events, coordinated cooperation of the Center and the states will be required for the convenience, security, traffic management, expansion of basic facilities and smooth operation of various arrangements for the devotees and tourists coming from India and abroad.
Chief Minister Shri Dhami said that the state government is continuously working to establish the cultural traditions, religious heritage and spiritual identity of Uttarakhand at the global level. He expressed confidence that with the cooperation of the Central Government and various states, the organization of Maa Nanda Rajjat Yatra and Kumbh Mela will be very well organized, safe and historically successful.
While discussing the issues related to internal security in the meeting, the Chief Minister also stressed on increasing coordination between the border states, effective control on cyber crimes, strengthening the disaster management system and maximum use of technical resources. He said that to face modern challenges, it is necessary to further strengthen the exchange of information and joint efforts between the states.
The Chief Minister said that the Uttarakhand government is continuously working by giving priority to public welfare, good governance, basic development, tourism, conservation of religious and cultural heritage and empowerment of youth and women. The state government is working with full commitment to realize Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s resolve of ‘Developed India’. On this occasion, Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, ministers of various states, senior administrative officers and other dignitaries were present.
