Rishikesh/Pauri Garhwal: A wonderful confluence of devotion, devotion and Sanatan culture was seen on Friday at Parmarth Niketan in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand, when Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and Bharatiya Janata Party National President Nitin Nabin participated in the grand Ganga Aarti after duly worshiping Mother Ganga. During this, both the leaders wished for the happiness, prosperity, good health and world peace of the country and the people of the state.
In the Ganga Aarti organized at Parmarth Niketan Ghat, there was a spiritual atmosphere amidst Veda mantras, bhajan-kirtan and divine aura of lamps. Chief Minister Dhami and BJP National President Nitin Nabin worshiped Mother Ganga and prayed for the development of the state, public welfare and world peace.
On this occasion, BJP National President Nitin Nabin said that the holy banks of Mother Ganga always provides an intimate and spiritual experience. He said that Ganga is not just a river, but a living stream of Indian culture, faith and eternal tradition, which has nourished the spiritual consciousness of the country for centuries.
Referring to the Indian saint tradition, he said that in difficult circumstances, saints and sages have worked to give a new direction to the society. India’s tradition of penance, culture and spiritual values has been kept alive by the Sant Samaj from generation to generation. He said that Devbhoomi like Uttarakhand is the center of spiritual consciousness of the country and the entire country gets inspiration from here.
Swami Chidanand Muni of Parmarth Niketan welcomed the guests present in the program and highlighted the importance of Ganga conservation, environment promotion and human service. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India is reaching new heights at the global level and the country’s prestige has increased due to the decisions taken in the national interest. He also praised the work of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and described Uttarakhand as the land of divinity, restraint and confluence.
Mahamandaleshwar Swami Avadheshanand Ji Giri of Juna Akhara, Mahamandaleshwar Kailashanand Ji Giri of Niranjan Akhara, Mahant Ravindra Puri, President of Akhil Bharatiya Akhara Parishad, Garhwal MP Anil Baluni, Rajya Sabha MP and BJP State President Mahendra Bhatt, Cabinet Minister Dhan Singh Rawat, local MLA Renu Bisht and a large number of saints, devotees and tourists from India and abroad were present in the program.
This grand Aarti organized on the banks of Ganga drenched the devotees with spiritual experience and gave the message of preserving Sanatan culture and strengthening spiritual consciousness.
