Uttarakhand News: A total of ₹ 105 crore has been given financial approval by Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami for the preparations for Kumbh Mela-2027 as well as for the development of infrastructure facilities in various assembly constituencies of the state, construction of various roads and schemes related to public facilities etc.
The Chief Minister gave approval of ₹ 93.36 lakh for the beautification and renovation of Haruhit Temple, Kadholi Nagar Panchayat, Bhikiyasain, and approved the first installment of ₹ 56 lakh, while giving approval of ₹ 72.67 lakh, for the beautification of Maa Bal Kunwari Mata Temple located in Kathud Bada, Devikhal under development block Dwarikhal, approval of ₹ 43.60 lakh in the first installment. Has been provided.
Along with the Chief Minister approving a total amount of ₹ 1.41 crore for the construction of separate toilets and additional rooms for transgenders, disabled people and women in labor courts for Dehradun, Kashipur, and Haridwar districts, a total of ₹ 1.50 crore has been approved for the Tourism Department in the current financial year under Ranikhet Assembly of Almora district.
The Chief Minister has given approval to sanction a total of ₹ 4.96 crore for the installation of LED street lights under Municipal Corporation Kotdwar and an amount of ₹ 18.59 lakh for the construction of Type III building for judicial employees in Civil Court, Ramnagar under Nainital district.
The Chief Minister has approved the sanction of ₹ 4.17 crore by the Government of India for the construction of a 50-bed barrack for the fire station in Mayapur under the Kumbh Mela-2027.
Municipal Corporation Haldwani-Kathgodam, Rudrapur, Haridwar, Roorkee and Municipal Council for legacy waste disposal Shivalik Nagar, Chamba, Karnaprayag, Bageshwar, Nagar Panchayat Sultanpur-Adampur, Dwarahat and Municipal Council Nainital for purchasing garbage vehicles and equipment under the Urban Development Department under the ring fenced account by the Chief Minister. Approval has been given to sanction ₹ 48.58 crore in Purola, Mahuakhedganj, Nagar Panchayat Gularbhoj and Banbasa.
₹ 7.76 crore by the Chief Minister for the reconstruction of the main and internal roads affected by the disaster along with drains for Raipur division of Dehradun assembly constituency, ₹ 13.73 crore for widening of the road from Gaba Chowk to DD Chowk in Rudrapur city of Rudrapur assembly constituency of Udham Singh Nagar district and Chenagad under Jakholi development block of Rudraprayag assembly constituency of Rudraprayag district. Approval has been given to sanction ₹ 4.02 crore for asphalting the remaining part of Buxir Motorway.
Under the state scheme, the Chief Minister approved an amount of ₹ 3.87 crore for the improvement of Vijaypur-Paharpani pedestrian road in Haldwani development block of Lalkuan assembly constituency of Nainital district, an amount of ₹ 9.87 crore for the improvement/asphaltization of the road from Maunpokhari to Hareshwar temple in Champawat assembly constituency of Champawat district, and also under the state scheme in Nainital district, the assembly in Ramnagar. Approval has been given to sanction ₹ 4.06 crore for strengthening Hanumandham Temple Motor Road from km 06 of the state road Ramnagar-Kaladhungi-Haldwani-Kathgodam-Chorgaliya-Sitarganj-Bijti.
