Uttarakhand News: A total financial approval of ₹ 289 crore has been given by Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami for the development of infrastructure facilities in various assembly constituencies of the state, construction works related to making the traffic system more organized, safe and convenient, public facilities, disaster relief etc.
Chief Minister allocated ₹ 4.67 crore for laying pipeline at Bhupatwala Haridwar in Haridwar branch of Haridwar district, ₹ 01 crore for various schemes related to the urban development department of Champawat assembly constituency, ₹ 27.02 lakh for construction of Dharamshala in Kalsin Devta temple in Surun village panchayat of Kanalichhina development block of Almora district and widening and beautification of the road and village Daru of Kichha assembly. Financial approval of Rs 25.00 lakh has been approved for the beautification of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Park and Pond.
The Chief Minister has given approval to approve ₹ 75.00 crore as the first installment against the total ₹ 150 crore for Govind Ballabh Pant Agriculture and Technology University, Pantnagar, and ₹ 5.00 crore against ₹ 9.43 crore for the construction of electrical sub-station at Pankhu under Gangolihat assembly constituency of Pithoragarh district.
The Chief Minister approved the approval of ₹ 2.81 crore for the supply of STP treated water for the gardening of Rashtrapati Ashiana under North Branch of Dehradun and ₹ 4.24 crore for the Upper Saundhwali River Valley Drinking Water Scheme of Assembly Mussoorie, along with the approval of ₹ 33.45 crore for making the traffic system of Dehradun city area more organized, safe and convenient, improvement and modernization of major intersections etc.
Under disaster relief, 23 families of Tehsil Dharchula of Pithoragarh district, 16 families of Munsiyari, 14 families of Tejam, 10 families of Bangapani, 05 families of Pithoragarh, 05 families of Berinag, 02 families of Kanalichina and 05 families of Didihat were rehabilitated/displaced elsewhere by the Chief Minister for the safety of a total of 78 families. ₹ 3.81 crore for this purpose, ₹ 20 crore for the payment of residual liabilities of the previous years for the cases of human death, animal damage, crop damage and house damage due to wild animals and currently, in view of the sudden demand received for the said cases, a sum of ₹ 10 crore i.e. a total of ₹ 30 crore has been approved from the State Disaster Response Fund and ₹ for the World Bank assisted project U-Prepar under the Disaster Management Department. An amount of Rs 75.00 crore has been approved.
The Chief Minister has approved the approval of ₹ 6.02 crore for the construction work of 06 km hot mix road in village Jogidher Nagla in village Jogidher Nagla in Khatima assembly constituency of Udham Singh Nagar district, ₹ 3.45 crore for the construction work of motor road from the main road to Khakra Crocodile Trail in Khatima assembly constituency and an amount of ₹ 01 crore for the construction work of residential buildings in Civil Court complex Khatima.
The Chief Minister has given approval to sanction an amount of ₹ 1.36 crore for various construction works including the existing conference hall and waiting lounge of Uttarakhand Civil Aviation Development Authority, Sahastradhara, Dehradun in the helipad located at Sahastradhara.
The Chief Minister has given approval to approve the expenditure amounting to ₹ 1.28 crore for installing/installing CCTV cameras in the District Court of Haridwar district.
The Chief Minister has given approval to sanction an amount of ₹ 21.00 crore for Sahaspur (Augmentation) Drinking Water Scheme and ₹ 19.00 crore for Sharpur Hukumatpur (Augmentation) Drinking Water Scheme under NABARD under the Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation.
The Chief Minister sanctioned Rs 99.44 lakh for the construction of an open gym for the exercise of students at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Matauli Champawat in the assembly constituency Champawat, Rs 19.68 lakh for the work of interlocking tiles in Semagad village of Ma Purnagiri Dham, as well as Rs 19.68 lakh for Maa Hatkalika Mandir Marg and all the wards under Municipality Gangolihat area in Pithoragarh district. Approval has been given to include the works related to installation of E.D. street lights in the Chief Minister’s announcement.

PMGSY launched by the Chief Minister in Almora Assembly Constituency. Martyr Late Balta Motor transferred from Paparsaili. Shri Bhupal Singh Sub Inspector has given approval for laying Kirti Chakra Motorway.
